Day 5,6 & 7 of PreSeason

Thursday
So for the last few days my legs have been aching and I've been walking around like a have a stick up my bottom - wasn't a good look but today they feel great. I am missing my morning walk so cant wait till my friend gets back from her holiday. I am loving using my new HRM watch, and watching those calories mount up whilst doing my Crunch Time training. Day 4 straight and it is such a good feeling.

I went to the park with the kids today, so drank plenty of water and had a chicken and salad roll for lunch. I am getting so excited about starting the sample menu plan on Monday. I usually find if its all outlined and I don't have to think about it, then I'm pretty good at sticking to it.

Friday
I couldn't sleep last night, so I sat in the lounge till about 2am. I was having trouble breathing, and felt really sick. I finally went back to bed but felt as though I didn't sleep. Eyes were shut but I was so aware of everything. Really don't think I will be doing my Crunch Time Day today - may have to change it to being my rest day. I am also no longer sore in the legs but my abs are a little tender - lol.

I took my kids rollerskating this morning, and whilst chatting to my beautiful friend, I mentioned the wonderful 12WBT challenge I had set myself and that this is going to be the one to change my life. Not sure what I said but she signed up on the spot - YAY. So excited for her. GO LEANNE!

After leaving the roller rink, I had about an hour before needing to take my DD to a hearing appointment. I was tempted to go to the shops (wanted to suss out more of Mish's books) but knew if I did that I would have to buy lunch. So I turned back around and went home. Made lunch and then went back out to the appt. That is HUGE for me. I'd usually just go Fuck It. So motivated was I, that when I came home again, I sucked it up and did Day 5's exercises. I feel so good right now.

Tonight we were going out to Chinese / karaoke for Lea's birthday. It was a planned night and it was a banquet. Now again usually I would eat everything in front of me, with the excuse, "I'm paying for this food so I'm going to eat it", but I thought I did pretty well tonight. I ate my lettuce cup and my soup. Then left 1/2 of my combination birds nest, ate my pork, didn't touch any of my fried rice and played with my banana fritter dessert making rude pictures but DID NOT TOUCH IT - not even a bite! I did drink wine though but you know what I was proud and it has given me strength that next time, I can leave even more!

Saturday
Was expecting to wake a little worse for wear today but no, I feel fine. Went outside and worked a massive sweat session with my hubby who was cutting down trees. So here was I picking up all the (big) branches and taking them down to the other end of the yard. Great upper body workout, wish I had my HRM on. Wasn't going to be satisfied with just that though, I finished it off with Day 6 workout from Crunch Time. I don't own a skipping rope YET, so I improvised and jumped on the spot, twirling my arms as if I did have a rope in them. I am still feeling tender in the abs but am pushing through.

Ate really well today, healthy salad and ham sandwich for lunch then DH cooked lambracks on the webber with a few herbs and we had them with beans & snowpeas in garlic. It was so YUM. He also cooked up some prawns in some other herby stuff - beautiful, and no cream sauces. So feeling ready and raring to tackle this weight and kick it out the door!

Tomorrow I am going to sit down and do Task 2. I have been putting it off and off. JFDI!
