Last night I saw Burlesque. I loved it, I have never danced before, always played sport but that has inspired me to lose this weight, get fit and do some dancing - just for myself but I would love it. (I'm sure hubby wouldn't complain either.) Even though it was a late night, I still got up for my morning walk but WOW, I could barely walk after going hard yesterday on Mish's Crunchtime workouts - and that was only day 1. My friend who I walk with was running late, so I walked up to her corner and asked if we could reverse our route as I didn't think I'd be able to walk up the big hill we conquer (and are getting better at) but I think it was more painful walking down the hill then up (there are lots of hills on our route).
I then went to the supermarket and bought everything I'd need to do the menu plan in the crunch time book. Am only doing the sample one and will start it on Saturday. When we came home, and after putting all my fruit and vege away, I did the exercises for Day 2. The OLD me would've given up and said I was to sore, I'll do it tomorrow, but the NEW and FOREVER me knew it was better to push through the pain and I'm glad I did although I couldn't believe there were more lunges/squats to do today!
We are having people over for dinner tonight, so I have requested the smallest piece of meat and we are serving our own vegies so meal size shouldn't be a problem. I am also going to drink Vodka, soda and Lime.
I am loving how I feel after a good workout, although I do wish I had all the equipment, especially to do the warm up and final bursts.
